Innovating for a Sustainable Future

EnviroStraw is committed to creating a more sustainable future through innovative products and processes that protect our planet and ensure a healthy future for generations to come.

We believe that innovation is essential to addressing the challenges of climate change and environmental degradation. That’s why we continually invest heavily in research and development (R&D), led by a team of dedicated scientists who are at the forefront of environmental industries research.

Their collective expertise ensures that EnviroStraw’s solutions are scientifically advanced and focused on delivering both project outcomes and environmental benefits.

Over the past year, we have made significant progress on several R&D initiatives:

Water Retention

Water is a finite resource, and its efficient use is essential for sustainable agriculture and land restoration. EnviroStraw understands this all too well and has developed a revolutionary rewetting cellulose fibre that enhances seed germination and fosters robust plant growth – even in dry conditions. By effectively retaining and redistributing moisture in the soil, this innovative fibre is a game-changer for water conservation in arid and semi-arid regions.

Soil Health

Healthy soils are essential for thriving ecosystems, and EnviroStraw recognises the vital role of soil health in environmental restoration. We have introduced a suite of cutting-edge bioenergetic microbes that work beneath the surface to bolster below-ground biomass and accelerate soil structure development.

These new microbes help to create a healthy rhizosphere around plant roots, which is essential for nutrient uptake and plant growth, resulting in healthier, more resilient plants.

Blending Equipment

EnviroStraw’s commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality products doesn’t end with groundbreaking innovations. To ensure the utmost in product consistency, we have also invested in state-of-the-art blending equipment which also speeds up our production. This investment will allow us to meet the growing demand for our products and ensure that our customers always receive the highest quality products.

In the coming year, we will be adding several new additives to our existing range of hydromulch, including new microbes designed to enhance water penetration into hydrophobic soils and improved biostimulants to further accelerate microbial activity in the soil, fostering a thriving ecosystem beneath the surface.

We are also close to launching a carbon sequestration program that will enable our clients to claim carbon credits on their projects, offsetting carbon emissions and contributing to the fight against climate change, further underlining our commitment to sustainability.
